KinderstampO Themed Inspired Saturdays 4/27/13

KinderstampO Themed Inspired Saturdays: April 27- Vintage Paris

This week's Theme Inspired is what I call Vintage Paris,  here's the photo inspiration
provided by KinderStampO

Here's what I came up with using an old mini drawer and altered it for Mother's Day

Project Recipe

Mini drawer
Mod Podge
Washi Tape
Assorted Flower Embellishments
Mason Jar stamped and colored on Transparency Sheet
Embossed Eiffel Tower Die Cut
Pink Jute Twine
DCWV cardstock printed papers
Viva's Inka-Gold Indian Yellow
Inkssentials Memory Glass

Items from KinderStampO:

The mini drawer is one of my flea marker/swap meet find. I sanded it a bit and then used a textured paper as the trim around the drawer glued using my favorite mod podge. I then got a die cut of the Eiffel tower using the Summer in Paris Cricut Cartridge. I then dried embossed the die using a cuttlebug embossing folder and lightly dabbed a bit of Viva's Inka-Gold Indian Yellow. Then I started embellishing the 3 sections of the drawer.

Cards By Lady Anne's Sentimental Friday Challenge #9

Mother's Day
is just around the corner

Because of that I went ahead and used the digital stamp Mom provided by
Challenge #9 sponsor Bugaboo Stamps
So come on over and join me together with the other Cards by Lady Anne's Design Team.

Here's the card I made and hope it helps you be inspired. I used the flip-it card.
Just like the last challenge instead of coloring the digital stamp, I printed it on two different card stocks and cut them to form the paper tole. :)

Quickutz Fashion Doll Dies

For a while now I have been wanting to buy Quickutz Fashion Doll Dies, I finally won them on ebay and I got the bride and groom die for free. How did I get a free bride and groom die? I received two envelopes from the ebay seller, I thought the items I bid on was shipped separately. But when I open one envelope it contains a different die and the invoice attached is for a different buyer. I emailed the seller right away and told her that I am willing to ship the die back to her all she needs to do is pay for the shipping, to make a long story short she agreed on it and told me that for what I did she will give me a free die.

Now I have been playing with the fashion dolls. I have been using vellums, laces, fabric tapes. Here's what I got so far. Check out what I have so for below. Let me know what you think.

I was able to get the OK from Quickutz to be able to sell them on my etsy store. I have already added a few on my etsy store, Anela's Creations on Etsy.
